Delivery Options Overview

Customers can choose to collect their orders at no extra cost directly from the Nairobi Pick up Point, located at Nairobi Starmall Shop A21 along Tom Mboya Street (next to Zuri Bus Station, opposite Best Lady), once they receive an email confirmation that their order is ready for pickup.

For address delivery, Standard Delivery takes 1 to 2 days within Nairobi and up to 3 days for locations outside Nairobi; while it normally costs KSh 250, it is FREE for orders above KSh 3,000. Alternatively, Express Delivery is available for KSh 400, offering same-day delivery within a few hours for Nairobi addresses, 1-day delivery to most major cities, and up to 2 days max for interior towns depending on distance.

Payment on Delivery Policy

To ensure a smooth delivery process, please review our inspection policy for Pay-on-Delivery orders:

Seal Integrity & Payment First: Package seals must remain intact until full payment is completed to the delivery agent. Same also applies to orders collected at the Shop or Pick up Shelf
On-Site Testing: If you wish to test or inspect the item, please complete your payment first. You may then unbox and test the item in the presence of the delivery agent.
Immediate Defect Return: In the rare event that the product is defective or damaged upon unboxing, the agent will process an immediate replacement on the spot.

Exchange or Return of Goods

Customers have 7 days from the date of delivery to submit a return request if an item is received damaged or defective. Return requests based on a change of mind are strictly not accepted if the product's factory seal has been broken or opened.

The product is not accepted back if at least one of the components is missing:

Complete product set and original packaging : including all original boxes, protective wraps, and factory seals intact.
Included accessories and freebies : such as charging cables, power adapters, documentation and any promotional gifts or bundled items.
Unlocked access and cleared user data : for electronic items, all personal passwords, security accounts and private data must be completely removed prior to return.
Valid proof of purchase : such as the original order confirmation or receipt.

Return Outcomes & Exchange Policy

Direct Exchanges: Direct item exchanges are not offered. To receive a different item, submit a return request for a refund according to policy guidelines and place a new order for the desired product.
Rejected Returns: If a return request is rejected upon inspection, the item will be shipped back to the delivery address.
Unclaimed Items: Items that are not received upon reshipment and remain unclaimed for up to 30 days in the Electronics Mart KE warehouse will be considered forfeited. Kindly ensure to collect or receive your item within this timeframe, as unclaimed products will become forfeited.

How long do I have to return an item if it arrives damaged or defective?

You have 7 days from the delivery date to initiate a return request for any item that is damaged or defective

Can I return a product if I simply change my mind after opening it?

No. Return requests due to a change of mind are strictly rejected if the product's factory seal or original packaging has been opened.

What do I need to prepare before returning an electronic item (like a phone or tablet) ?

Before returning any electronic device, you must remove all passwords or security locks and completely wipe your personal data. Failing to do so will result in your return request being rejected. Additionally, ensure all original accessories, manuals, packaging, and bundled promotional gifts are included.

Can I exchange my item for a different color, size, or model ?

Direct exchanges are not supported. If you want a different item, you must submit a return request for a refund according to policy rules and place a brand new order for the preferred item.

What happens if my return request is rejected ?

If a return is rejected, the item will be shipped back to your address. If you do not accept the package and fail to request reshipment, it will be stored at the warehouse for up to 30 days. After 30 days, the item will be considered forfeited. Kindly ensure to collect or receive your item within this timeframe, as unclaimed products will become forfeited.
